Young-Moss earns Master of Arts degree

BATON ROUGE - ToiLoria E. Young-Moss, a native of Bogalusa, received a Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southern University in Baton Rouge on July 29.

A 1998 graduate of Bogalusa High School, she is also a 2002 graduate of Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

He is the wife of Damion Moses and the daughter of Jerome and Celeste Young. She is also the granddaughter of Beulah Carter, the late Landy Carter Sr., the late Rudolph and Rose Mary Young and the daughter-in-law of the late Sadie Moss.

A member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, she is also a member of the American Counseling Association, Tau Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the Behavioral Studies Graduate Council. She is currently employed at S&M Outreach Inc, a social service agency in Baton Rouge.

Young-Moss has a sister and brother-in-law, Vanessa and Eric Smith; three nephews, Rashard, Tahj and Jordan Smith Jr.; and four godchildren, Tahj and Kayli Smith, Caleh Harry and Jordan Smith Jr.
