Airman Christopher Kerbow graduates

SAN ANTONIO - United States Air Force Airman Christopher Kerbow of Mt. Hermon graduated from the Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio on Aug. 31.

The intensive six-week training was concluded by numerous ceremonies including the Airman's Run, the Coin Ceremony and the Graduation Parade.

Kerbow's flight received honors as the Flag Mass Flight and was chosen to present the national and state flags during the Graduation Parade Ceremony.

Attending the ceremonies were his wife, Ariel Kerbow; his parents, Bradley and Barbara Kerbow of Mt. Hermon; his sister, Brandie Kerbow; and his inlaws, Lawrence and Priscilla Mounic of Golden Meadow.

Kerbow was a 2004 honor graduate from Mt. Hermon School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University and Louisiana Tech University until the date of his enlistment into the US Air Force.

Kerbow will be stationed at Keesler Airforce Base for the next stage of his training. Upon completion of his training at Keesler Airforce Base Kerbow is scheduled to be transferred to Germany.
