The Tri-State Rodeo Association is one of the oldest regional rodeo associations in the world. The rodeo used to be called the Louisiana Western Fest, but this year the arena board changed the name to the Sheridan and Rayborn Memorial Rodeo. Also this year, the rodeo will host an old timers supper at the arena on March 27 at 7 p.m. All former members of sheriff's posse and other drill teams from Washington Parish are invited. There will be events for all the kids on March 29 at 6 p.m.

The proceeds will help to maintain and improve the Bogalusa Arena. The rodeo is the only event held once a year to make money for the arena.

Tickets are on sale at country fashion western stores and are $8 for adults and $7 for children under 12. Tickets at the gate will be $12 for adults and $10 for children. Kids under 6 years old are free.
